Dear people
How fantastic is life? Living in a beautiful place, beautiful weather all days and enjoying Sangria and tapas. We want you to have this too, so we invite you to our Maravilloso Guesthouse.
After an intensive renovation, the time has come.
Two brand new rooms with air conditioning, private bathroom and an outdoor area with several terraces and a private pool. This will be enjoyed from a homemade breakfast on your own terrace to a drink on the sunbeds by the pool. We live in a quiet area. Only 800 meters walk and you’re on the beach and in the coziness of Fuengirola. So book a ticket and come and enjoy the southern Spanish life for three or more days. By train from Malaga airport you are close to us and we will pick you up from the station (400 meters from our house). Of course you can also rent a car, then you can go in all directions!
You are most welcome.
We look forward to meeting you and spoiling you in our Guesthouse, We of course have an opening offer for you, namely: A short stay in Torreblanca. Arrival is possible on any day of the week. This three-night package costs € 215.00 p.p. and with four nights it costs € 275.00 p.p.
Would you like to stay with us even longer? Then we will make a nice price especially for you – our Golden Guests of the past – depending on the number of nights spent. What more could you want????
Another fact: we have two staircases: one to the guest rooms and one to the pool, so being able to climb stairs is a must.
Anything else?
How about a road trip Andalucia: You see the beautiful cities of Seville, Cordoba, Granada and Ronda.
After arriving at the airport in Malaga, come to our Guesthouse and relax for about three days. You start your trip with us in Fuengirola and then you drive via Marbella to Ronda. A beautiful trip through the mountains above Marbella. A hike across the gorge in Ronda should be on your program. An overnight stay in Ronda is fine and the next day you drive to Seville. There is an awful lot to see in the historic city center: the great cathedral with Giralda tower, the royal palace (Alcazar) with beautiful gardens and the Plaza de España in Maria Luisa park. In the evening, head to a Flamengo tent in the authentic Triana neighborhood across the Guadalquivir.
I would do two nights in Seville and then drive on to Cordoba, a drive of about 140 km. In Cordoba, of course, you’ll go to the Mezquita, the largest mosque in the West. You’ll also go to the Alcazar with its palace gardens and I recommend eating and drinking something in one of the many beautiful patios in the Juderia (the Jewish Quarter). And eating tapas in Cordoba that is a must! Again, I would take two nights here to get a nice impression of the city.
From Cordoba drive to Granada – about 200 km. And when you say Granada you say Alhambra and Nasrids palaces. You can’t skip that! And a trip through the Sierra Nevada is breathtaking. Again, two nights and you see almost everything of this beautiful city.
Then through Nerja and Malaga back to Fuengirola, a ride of about 150 km through the mountains and along the coast.
You can organize this all by yourself but keep in mind that you will need to buy tickets for the sights. And there are waiting lists for most attractions due to limited numbers of visitors. We can organize this road trip for you with all accommodations, entrance tickets and itineraries. And remember that in the summer months it can be very hot in the cities in the interior of Andalusia. The best time for this trip is from October to April. We were in Seville in January and then it was 26 degrees during the day.
Golfers: You don’t know what you see!
Between Malaga and Marbella there are some 70 golf courses. They don’t just call it Costa del Sol here, they call it Costa del Golf! I’ve already played a few courses and I can tell you: Super!
Courses with elevation changes, courses with phenomenal views of the Mediterranean, park courses where you can walk the 18 holes with your trolley and courses where you can’t even play golf without a buggie. And almost all year in your shorts and polo shirt! I no longer have an umbrella in my bag, because it hardly ever rains.
July and August are the quietest months on the golf courses in southern Spain, because then it is quite warm, although on a course by the sea then it is not so bad. Early Bird and Sundowner packages then give you a nice discount on your green fee. It gets more expensive if you want to play in the Dutch winter months. A combination of crowds due to winter visitors, pleasant temperatures and ideal conditions make these months slightly more expensive. But the conviviality on the terrace, the excellent conditions of the courts and the fun of the game completely made up for that. And our rooms are more affordable in the winter than in other months!
I myself am a member of Miraflores Golf Club in Riviera del Sol (Mijas Costa). A beautiful course, a cozy clubhouse and a decent “Dutch Club”; I feel at home here! We play 18 holes on Mondays and Wednesdays and guest players can almost always play along.
We have two guest rooms on the same floor and for a group of 4 people it is ideally suited. Totally independent, your own room with bathroom, enjoy the sun and the pool after playing golf. And of course, we can also provide your breakfast!
So, do a little homework, search the internet where you want to play, book a few nights at our Guesthouse and try one of the many, beautiful golf courses in our area. A teetime we also book for you.
